Empowering Black Women
& Girls in Southern Maryland through Advocacy

Welcome to our
New Website
We are the Southern Maryland Chapter. Founded in August 2023, our Chapter is part of a dynamic national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of over 60 Chapters throughout the United States.
With over 100 Black women in the Southern Maryland Chapter, we actively support our national advocacy goals, implemented at the community level, within the areas of Health, Economic Empowerment, Education, and Public Policy. Our programs exemplify the core values and mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.

Governor Wes Moore's Commitment to government that works for the people. Click to learn more:
By insisting that government serve the people rather than the ambitions of politicians, Governor Moore reminds us that true public service is rooted in accountability and empathy, not in partisan gain. Embracing this principle fosters trust between citizens and their institutions, paving the way for a more inclusive and effective democracy.
